The Strictly Come Dancing star also recently launched her new podcast, Spinning Plates, with each one hour episode featuring an interview with another working mother about the difficulties and joys of a work/life balance.
The OA comes from longtime creative team Brit Marling (who also stars as Prairie) and Zal Batmanglij. The show feels like the product of buzzing minds excitedly throwing out idea after idea. The OA is as intense as it is dense, exploring the human condition, mortality, the afterlife and… the multiverse.
It took just a simple question for Andria Nelson to grasp how different the world of education was from everything else. Nelson had quit her teaching job just months into the 2020-21 school year and taken a job as a communications specialist for a transportation company. Her innocent request -- seeking someone to cover for her so she could go to the bathroom -- raised some amused eyebrows around the office.
"It's been 35 years -- 35 years. That's crazy," Miller said.
"It's been a long time coming, I think. This program is slowly shifting the culture of TCU basketball. We're showing what TCU basketball is about right now."
While TCU's first-round rout of Seton Hall was impressive -- the program's first NCAA Tournament victory since coach Jamie Dixon was a starting guard for the Horned Frogs in 1987 -- an even bigger deal comes Sunday night.
Prairie has scars on her back and experiences traumatic episodes, but won't burden her adopted parents with her story. Instead, she takes to the internet, finding like-minded friends via the medium of YouTube.
"I didn't feel like he was quite ready to play," Lloyd said of Kriisa after Friday's win. "Was hoping that we could get through this game without needing him, and fortunately we were. ... He's closer to playing than not playing. So hopefully soon."
It glues itself together with realistic, loyal characters bonded by their harrowing shared ordeals. There's even a believable love story, a flicker of warmth amid the creepy science, cryptic puzzles and trippy imagery.
Julie Bindel, a feminist campaigner, said: 'There are questions to be asked why single men, all of a sudden, want babies that they will be the sole parents for, when traditionally they have passed on the lion's share of caring responsibilities for children to women.'
That's right. Forget Marvel. This is the show to watch if you want a rich, existential look at the interconnectedness of all things. The world of the OA is vast and the way it works follows the most unexpected rules.

Netflix made a mistake by canceling this show. Many fans believed it was a publicity stunt -- there was no way the streamer would stop funding this acclaimed, if expensive, series intended for five seasons, each wildly different in style and setting from the previous.
During the challenge - which started at 9.30am in the morning - Sophie was joined by Tony Blackburn as they sang karaoke together as well as a host of other guests including Natalie Imbruglia, Tamsin Outhwaite and Michael Ball.
The OA doesn't abide by any strict TV series formula either. The opening credits don't appear until 57 minutes into the show. It was written like an eight-hour film, with a novelistic approach. You don't meet some of the main characters until a third of the way through.
